Do you require a deposit to begin design work?
For one-time projects, we generally ask for a 35% upfront deposit to begin services. Please speak to a Candeavor team member to discuss this.
Do you build WordPress websites?
Yes! Our team is certified and experienced in building websites in the WordPress platform. In fact, the majority of website projects we produce are built for WordPress. We also can install and setup WordPress for our clients.
Does your team build e-commerce options?
We love shopping carts! In fact, we love helping you make money. Our team is experienced with building both custom e-commerce platforms, and integrating existing e-commerce platforms. Let’s talk!
Where are your servers?
All of our servers are located in a state-of-the-art data center in Phoenix, Arizona. The SSAE No. 16 SOC 1 Certified data center has 10 Gig backbone network with multiple redundant bandwidth carriers, generator backup power supply, PCI compliant environment, 24/7 physical security presence.
What happens if my website goes down?
We provide a 99.99% uptime guarantee for our servers. This means that your website stays up. We work hard to maintain redundancies because no one likes website downtime. You can sleep easier knowing that we are watching over the server.
Do your servers run Linux, Windows, or Mac?
All of our servers currently run on Linux using CentOS operating system. We do not own any Windows servers. Sorry.
Will WordPress work on your server?
Absolutely. In fact, most websites we build — including our own — run on WordPress. We definitely host dozens of WordPress-based websites on our server without any issues. Please reach out to our team if you are interested in hosting your WordPress website on our servers.
Are there automated backups? What if I accidentally delete something?
We do not provide automated backups for our normal accounts. Automated backup is an additional premium feature that we offer only by request. If your website needs automated backup services, please contact our team for more details. We always recommend our users maintain their own backups of their files.
Is your server secure? What about security breaches?
The servers that we launch the vast majority of our web hosting clients into are meant to be shared spaces. We take steps to provide basic security to these servers, but they are by no means bulletproof. We do not recommend any sensitive information be stored on the server. If you have to store sensitive information on the server, please make sure your platform is encrypting that information properly. We are not responsible for security breaches.
